Diakonia is an emergency homeless shelter, food pantry, and resource center serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness on the Lower Eastern Shore.

 

At the 2026 MAPP Conference, we’re collecting essential items to help support their mission.

🧺 Items Needed: • Toilet Paper • Paper Towels • HE Pods / Laundry Detergent • Disinfectant Sprays & Wipes • Bleach • Cases of Bottled Water

The Maryland Association of Pupil Personnel (MAPP) held its 2025 Spring Conference on April 29–30 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, Maryland. This annual event brought together pupil personnel workers (PPWs) from across the state for two days of professional development, networking, and recognition of outstanding service in student support.
